Takarazuka is located in Hyogo prefecture, in the Kansai Region of Japan.
Takarazuka is famous all around Japan for its Revue; performed by all-female troupes, in contrast to traditional Kabuki which as an all-male cast.
The town is well known for its proximity to the Takedao Hot Spring. This off the beaten tracks hot spring is located in a small valley, surrounded by nature along the Mukogawa River.
Railway connections to Osaka (30 minutes train ride) and Kyoto are convenient.
